“Sensorimotor Psychotherapy® (SP), developed by Dr. Pat Ogden, is a body-oriented, mindfully-based talking therapy that is used in the treatment of trauma, attachment, and developmental issues.” If you have symptoms of anxiety, hypervigilance, emotional overwhelm, irritability, depression, numbness, low energy, worthlessness, shame, insomnia, or body pain, this therapy can be helpful. It helps you to feel resourced and supported; to safely explore trauma-related material and activation of the nervous system; and to restore a greater sense of self, calmness, and vitality.
